This seventy-minute epic collection was recorded, engineered, and mixed exclusively by members of the band.

All proceeds from sales of Blood Red Tape, in all its forms, are returned directly to the band and are the sole source of funding for Portal's future musical endeavours.

instrumentation

Each song was produced with special attention paid to prosody - how the music should reflect the message. Specific songs benefit from the inclusion of instruments unique to the part of the world that served as the main influence for the song, such as the dumbek, oud, and santur in "We Kuffar", the sarangi in "Six Degrees", and the kora in "The Light".
